Faculty Brief

Welcome to the Faculty of Dentistry (FoD) at Al-Ahliyya Amman University (AAU) established in 2023 to fulfill AAU’s vision to include a leading faculty in dental education, training and research. We are proud to be one of the first private dental schools in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and what puts us apart from other dental schools is our highly qualified faculty, innovative curriculum and state of the art facilities, which include simulation labs and a dedicated clinical training facility (dental hospital). The learning experience and clinical training students will receive at FoD will equip them to become among the future leaders of the dental profession in Jordan, regionally and beyond. The Faculty of Dentistry includes three departments: 1. The department of basic dental sciences, which oversees learning of basic medical and dental sciences. 2. The department of clinical dental sciences which oversees learning and preclinical and clinical training in the various dental specialties. 3. The department of dental technology which oversees basic sciences and practical training of dental technics.
