Faculty Brief

The Faculty of Dentistry was established at Al-Ahliyya Amman University in 2023 in line with the university’s directions to achieve academic excellence and to achieve the university’s vision to include within its schools a leading school for dental education and research at the local and international levels. The Faculty of Dentistry has taken upon itself to graduate generations of dentists who enjoy scientific, moral and societal responsibility and are equipped with the scientific knowledge and practical and clinical experiences that enable them to practice dentistry at the highest levels of quality. The Faculty of Dentistry includes two main departments: 1. The Department of Basic Dental Sciences, which is concerned with the academic and educational process during the pre-clinical stage, including basic biomedical sciences and basic dental sciences. 2. The Department of Clinical Dental Sciences is concerned with the academic and training process in the various dental specialties during the clinical years. The Faculty of Dentistry provides a distinguished educational environment containing the latest technical, laboratory and clinical equipment. In order to achieve the school’s vision to be a leading school in dental education and research at the local and international levels, the college has entered into an agreement for scientific, academic, and research cooperation with the Medical University of Vienna, and the school is seeking more cooperation with international medical institutions and institutes in the coming years.
