Training

The study plan in the Faculty of Dentistry for the DDS program includes a comprehensive and intensive training program in all fields of dentistry to ensure the achievement of the school’s vision of graduating distinguished, qualified dentists capable of providing safe and effective dental treatment to all categories of patients.

Training in the DDS program is divided into two parts:

1. The pre-clinical part

2. The clinical part.

The pre-clinical part extends from the first year to the third year, during which, students are trained to perform dental treatments and improve their practical skills on simulators to ensure the development of students’ practical and scientific skills gradually and effectively. This part also includes practical exercises in various basic medical sciences.

As for the clinical part, it extends from the third year until the end of the fifth year, during which the student practices various dental, oral, and surgical treatments under the supervision of faculty members within a controlled and safe educational environment. Clinical training ensures the graduation of highly competent, skilled and distinguished dentists. The clinical part includes intensive training in all dental specialties, including restorative dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, periodontology, orthodontics, and pediatric dentistry.
